Attorney Michael Martin Named Northern Oklahoma College Regent

As a skilled injury lawyer in Stillwater, Attorney Michael P. Martin has shown time and again that he can get results for Oklahomans who need help, and ensure that they have the means to protect their future after a serious accident. Now, with his recent appointment to the Northern Oklahoma College Board of Regents, Attorney Martin will have the chance to help their talented educators provide a first-rate education for Oklahoma students, too!

Attorney Martin was sworn into the NOC Board of Regents by the Honorable Judge Lee Turner on Wednesday, July 24th at NOC Tonkawa, after taking the new regent oath of office. Presiding over the meeting was NOC Board Chair Dale Dewitt, and Regents Jodi Cline, Stan Brownlee, and Chad Dillingham were also in attendance.

In his new role on the Board of Regents, Attorney Martin hopes to ensure that NOC continues to provide a high-quality education for its students, without sacrificing affordability. As NOC President Dr. Cheryl Evans commented: “NOC is pleased that Governor Stitt nominated Mr. Martin and that the Oklahoma Senate approved his service to our Board of Regents. Michael will bring a new perspective and legal expertise to the board. In addition, he is excited to serve students and provide oversight to NOC. I look forward to working with him.”

At Martin Jean & Jackson, we’d like to take a moment and congratulate Attorney Michael P. Martin for this prestigious appointment. We are confident that he will bring the same level of quality and care to his term as an NOC Regent as he does as an attorney at Martin Jean & Jackson.
